This page explains, in plain terms, how we handle data on this website and in the Read it Big application. The philosophy is short: we collect as little as possible and we share nothing with third parties for advertising.
The data controller is Enrico Frascati. For any request, write to [email protected].
This site is an informational page. Specifically:
Read it Big is a magnifier for macOS. To work it asks for a few system permissions, and uses them only for their purpose:
The important part: the window image is processed only on your Mac, shown magnified and immediately discarded. It is never saved, uploaded or transmitted to us or to anyone else. The app does not collect the contents of your screen.
Sales will be handled through Gumroad, which acts as Merchant of Record and manages payment and invoicing under its own privacy policy. We never see or store your card details. When you activate the license, the app transmits only the license key to verify its validity, without sending any personal data.
We may collect usage statistics in aggregate, anonymous form (for example the number of app launches, or a broad geographic region derived from the IP and then discarded), solely to understand how many people use the product. This data contains no personal information and cannot be used to identify you. We will update this page when such statistics are actually active.
Even though we process very little data, under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, and to object to processing. To exercise these rights, write to [email protected].
If the product changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. Earlier versions are superseded by the current one.
